General description of the collection: Army Reserves / National Guard papers include general officers papers. This is the initial portion of a planned topical oral history project. Currently contains only oral history interview of Lieutenant General Vern E. Weber by Colonel William R. Nixon in 1988. General Weber had served in World War II (WWII) as an enlisted Marine and in the Korean War as captain and major. His primary contribution are as a National Guard officer and the interview concentrates upon that aspect of his service.
